Drones in South Africa

Professional Pilot Wanted :) Hello everyone, we've received a request from from a local marketing agency wanting to do a PR stunt for one of their clients.

They are looking to do 4 drone drops of branded items and product in the Linden, Sandton and Midrand areas. They understand that with flying restrictions, hey will be staging the drops and documenting the process so that it looks like they fly across the city to deliver them.

They are looking for the following:

• A licensed photographer/videographer to track and document the cargo drone.

• A cargo drone to carry and deliver the package to influencer’s residence.

My name is Elisa Serafinelli. I work as a Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield (UK). I am currently working on a research project titled Drones in Visual Culture

funded by AHRC Research Council. Lauren O'Hagan is working with me on the project.

I am writing this post as we are looking for drone users to take part in this study. Taking part in this study will give participants the opportunity to display their work in a drone visuals exhibition in June 2021 (if they wish).
