Andorra differentiates commercial & recreational drone use - see our post to differentiate recreational vs commercial drone use. Both uses are subject to strict restrictions, registrations & a code of conduct which is based on the drone's weight and/or your flight(s) purpose(s).

✅ In Andorra, the use of drone for any purpose falls under the permission of the Andorran Ministry of Public Administration, Transports & Telecommunication. You can contact them anytime via:

✅ Andorra distinguishes drones into 4 categories based on their weight:

  • below 999 g (category A0)

  • between 1 kg & 3,99 kg (category A1)

  • between 4 kg & 25 kg (category A2)

  • 🚨 drones over 25 kg need to comply with civil aviation levels.

🚨 Be aware of the airline you purchase to travel as some main ones will only accept your drone on-board if its batteries are detached & placed in a firecase during travel time.
