Recreational vs Commercial drone use in North Korea

North Korea does not differentiate commercial & recreational drone use - see our post to differentiate recreational vs commercial drone usage. Both uses are supposedly strictly forbidden.

🚨 The country is a dictatorship under the communist influence & any use or tentative of use of drones in North Korea is likely to end you in jail if not worse. The regime does not welcome any use of cameras without full control of what they record.

🚨 The likeliest way you could fly your drone here is from a neighboring country but this is also strongly not recommended as North Korea will not appreciate this & probably destroy your drone. Moreover, the country you are doing it from might turn you up to them to not worsen their own relationship with their capricious neighbor.
