Thailand's coronation featured a drone light show
In 2019, King Maha Vajiralongkorn's coronation was held in Bangkok. He is the only living son of the previous king who ruled for 7 decades! To celebrate this important event, the ceremony featured a drone led light show illuminating the skies into an impressive ballet of lights.
This was made possible thanks to Intel's Light Show Technology which has the capacity to launch and coordinate up to 500 drones in the sky close to each other at the same time. To start with, the drones went into position to represent the landscape of Thailand, to then move into a portrait of the King with for final word: "Long Live the King!"
Get the popcorn ready 'cause the show is about to begin..! 🎬🍿
This is undoubtedly one of the nicest ways to close what many Thai citizens consider as one the most important ceremony of their lives. If you're interested to visit Thailand, check out our post about Thailand drone rules before heading there.
