Hey guys, I thought this above photo I made a little earlier quite illustrative here.
Its been over one year & a half that my good old mavic pro is helping me show how beautiful our world is and well.. its starting to show some signs of tireness after all the adventures we spent together. Don't get me wrong its still working fine but I notice more and more 'calibration errors' & from time to time the gimbal would just got nuts forcing me to land and restart the engine. Once, I even got condensation into the lens but fixed it.
Disclaimers, I guess I've flown to places I shouldn't have really.. (in terms of envionmental conditions). Check out the dust coming to us on the motorbike thanks to the driest roads of Cambodia and the biggest trucks driving nuts on it 🚛
Even our lungs & eyes suffered after this day.
I'm not a winter guy.. so when I see snow I run into it as I know I won't see it again for a while. On this day, the winds were probably busting at 50 km/h which made it hard to control and I had to lower my altitude to cover behind the summit of some peaks.
After landing, the drone was really cold despite having flown for 25 minutes.
Or could it be this day I crashed in the tree 🌲 By then, my poor mavic decided to still come down back to me, hitting about 15 branches & keeping a fight until all its propellers decided to give up on him. I was shocked but also relieved not to have to climb 20 m in a tree that wouldt doubtly support my 72 kg.
As we all know now, there are a few disclaimers in the game here..
But nevetheless, each time it came back up, had an amazing clean and was ready to shoot again as new. Its actually been a while now I havn't had any more 'disclaimer' events and yet it decided to be a little more fussy. I was wondering if you guys had issues with your drone despite not having any recent event that could have impacted it.. wondering if aging is a thing here & how to optimize it? I like my drone, actually 💕 it as it allows me to show the world as I inspire to.
